First: Make sure you are registered to vote!

To vote in the General Primary Election on Tuesday, May 19th 2026, you must be registered! The deadline to register by mail, online, or in person is Monday, April 20, 2026. Here’s where you can check your registration status.

Second: Make your plan to vote!

Want to vote early in-person? Prefer to vote by mail? Are you an Election Day voter? The choice is yours, but you gotta make a plan!

IF YOU WANT TO VOTE BY MAIL:

The first day you can request your absentee ballot is March 2, 2026. The last day to request an absentee ballot is May 8, 2026. Remember, your absentee ballot must arrive at your County Registrar’s office by election day.

IF YOU WANT TO VOTE EARLY IN-PERSON:

Early in-person voting begins April 27, 2026 and ends the Friday before the General Primary Election.

IF YOU WANT TO VOTE ON ELECTION DAY:

Election Day voting means voting at your designated polling location based on where you are registered to vote. Polls are open 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.
